KZZOWW!! KZZOWW!! KZZOWW!!

Here's the strip I'm working on at the moment. This is just a colouring experiment to see how it would look given a 1940s newspaper strip look. Can't give away anything about this other than to say it's the Doctor Who story Dan McDaid has written and it's a lot of fun.

Intriguing! Bob Kane-y?

I see where you're coming from - it's that yellow spotlight isn't it...

This strip has more to do with another comics' legend and a different masked hero.

Hmm, with the Doctor in that outfit / hat, I think I see where you might be going with this...

I hope it's what I'm thinking, anyway, as frankly my imagination is already boggling at the prospect.

Looks fantastic, needless to say.

Like the colour bleeding into the black like cheap printing..... I'm assuming that's intentional.
You trying to balance the damage Miller did to a certain masked crime fighter?

My first time here. Gosh, I love your stuff. I'm jealous. No drawing skills at all. Writer though, all the same. wereviking.wordpress.com

Very nice Rob, you might like to check out the Adam Strange strip that Paul Pope is doing at the moment,it's been coloured in the same palette used by old newspaper strips and is along the lines of what your trying here
